Dr. Satchi joined Mount Vernon Internal Medicine in August 2018. Dr. Satchi received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. Upon completion of her residency, she was an Internal Medicine hospitalist at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone diseases at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Prior to joining Mount Vernon Internal Medicine, she worked at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, helping to regulate and approve new Endocrinology therapies. She is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She has a special interest in the management of diabetes, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders. She is also trained in ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy of thyroid nodules.
