Dear valued Patients,
The new year is here and insurance companies will begin to charge a deductible fee. The amount of your deductible will be verified by our staff and they will notify you before or at the time of your visit.
In order to offset the deductible and ease the burden of a higher bill to our patients, we will be collecting $50.00 at the time of each visit until the deductible is met. This amount will be deducted from the total and the leftover amount will be billed to the patient. Each insurance will have different thresholds when it comes to deductible, they range from the Medicare $183.00 all the way to over $2,000.00.
To clarify this, your provider will not receive reimbursement for the services provided until your deductible is met. The payment during that time will be the patient’s responsibility. This amount is in addition to the premiums the patient pays each month to the insurance companies. After the deductible is met, your standard insurance rates will apply along with any copays or coinsurances your insurance plan requires.
