Biography

Dr. Kate Endres earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and her Nurse Practitioner degrees at George Mason University following a nursing career in labor and delivery, high-risk pregnancy, and gynecology. Her doctoral project involved implementing a comprehensive women’s health program in the primary care setting that resulted in a more than forty percent increase in women receiving reproductive care from their primary care provider. It is her personal mission to reduce the maternal morbidity and mortality rate in Virginia one woman at a time! She serves on the Virginia Department of Health workgroup for contraceptive access and the Fairfax County Medical Reserve Corps and is also a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the Obesity Medicine Association, and The North American Menopause Society.
